What my book is about:
This book is about a teenager name Laurel who lost her mother and grandmother during a Katrina hurricane. Due to this, she lives with her father and brother in a new town. Old memories are still haunting Laurel. For awhile, It seemed like it’s working, she has found a new bestfriend, made the cheerleading squad and caught an eye on the star basketball player. Then she got into doing meth and loves how it makes her feel. Then, nothing else matters to her.

The character I felt most strongly about:
Moses, because he painted portraits of people that died from doing drugs and helped Laurel with meth addiction.
