What my book is about:
Beverly, Madison, Harriet and Eston are Thomas Jefferson’s children, but their mother is a slave, so they must keep their Father’s identity a secret They get treated better than other salves. They all will be freed when each one turns 21 .

The character I felt most strongly about:
I thinks that Maddie was very confused that his father had sold his best friend to someone else, but he was also very caring and offered him good treatment when he had hurt himself badly in the carpenter shop. I feel similar way to Maddie. His father was the owner of the words “All men are created equal”, but he himself owned slaves.
