What my book is about:
This book in the beginning is about the segregation of colored and white people in the time of world war 2. Black guy name Chauncey Spencer he want to prove him self to be a pilot but no one support him so he had to collect his money and rent the plane by himself. After he joined U.S. army, They sent him to combat in the Europe. After the war President Harry S. Truman enacts order to begin desegregation of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The character I felt most strongly about:

A part of the book that really stands out for me: I think this book is stand out for spirit that every should not give up to change our self and it’s imprint on me because its make me think that every one can do something to change the live
