Rating: ☆☆☆, a good read

Review by: Emerson

What my book is about:
The book is about a Jem and Scout, they are brother and sister. They live in Alabama in the 1930’s and deal with racism because of their father defending African Americans. They have to learn how to deal with it.

The character I felt most strongly about:
Tom Robinson makes me feel sad because of the situation he is in even though he is innocent.

What the main character has learned and how I think they’ll change:
Scout learns by experiencing things and will have a different view on the world by the end.

How this book gives me hope (or not):
That even in bad times their are good people but it is sad that their is so many bad people.

How the story would be different if told by someone other than Scout:
You might not understand the reasoning behind the things she does.
