Rating: ☆☆☆, a good read

What my book is about:
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is mostly about 2 children (Scout and Jem.),and their father Atticus, and how they hear a lot of people calling their father a “Nigger Lover”. Scout has a problem keeping control of her temper especially when someone’s talking about her father in a bad way.
The character I felt most strongly about:
Atticus because he knows how to ignore people when they say things about him.
What the main character has learned and how I think they’ll change:
Scout learns how to kinda control her temper. By the end of the book scout will be much more mature and she will be able to fully control her temoer.
How this book gives me hope (or not):
The book gives hope by showing that not all white people are racist. The also makes you feel less hopeful by showing how many racist people are.
How the story would be different if told by someone other than Scout:
The book would be less interesting.
