to kill a mockingbird by harper lee

Rating: ☆☆☆, a good read

Review by: alan

What my book is about:
6,and her older brother, Jem , live in sleepy Maycomb, Ala., spending much of their time with their friend Dill and spying on their reclusive and mysterious neighbor, Boo Radley . When Atticus, their widowed father and a respected lawyer, defends a black man named Tom Robinson against fabricated rape charges, the trial and tangent events expose the children to evils of racism and stereotyping.

The character I felt most strongly about:
atticus because he has a strong feeling about everything and gives good advice.

What the main character has learned and how I think they’ll change:
that everything you do has a consequence.

How this book gives me hope (or not):
i have to be careful with what i do in life.

How the story would be different if told by someone other than Scout:
i dont think it would affect the story in either way.

What my book is about:
Narrated by the main character, a little girl named Jean Louise “Scout” Finch. Her father, Atticus Finch, is a lawyer with high moral standards.

The character I felt most strongly about:
Even dough atticus is going through a rough time he is the most respected

What the main character has learned and how I think they’ll change:
Scout learns that there are raciest and bad people in this world and every one is not the same.

How this book gives me hope (or not):
This book showed me that everyone has consequences for their actions

How the story would be different if told by someone other than Scout:
the character was based off the narrator so the tone of the story would be different

What my book is about:
scout not behaving and some of the people not getting along with each other and how Mrs. Dubose curses a lot and uses the N word to much

The character I felt most strongly about:
i feel strongly about Calpurnia cause she is a housekeeper and she is a good person to help people out and do things around there houses and neighborhoods.

What the main character has learned and how I think they’ll change:
to be honest and they will learn to have respect

How this book gives me hope (or not):
this books do-sent give me any hope and i dont like the way this book is written .

How the story would be different if told by someone other than Scout:
i think this book would be better if Mrs. Dubose didn’t curse and if this story was talking more details.
