My current book type: Suspense/thriller, Mysteries: Characters like me and different from me, plot-driven, seeking a favorite author

“Crossover” by Kwame Alexander is about a family that loves basketball. JB (Jordan) and Filthy McNasty (Josh) are brothers, actually twins. They love basketball so much, that when they play together their team wins the game.

I like the book so far because I love how the 2 brothers get along so well. There dad was an NBA basketball star and the boys are inspired by him to play basketball. They play basketball on their middle school team and they win every game. In conclusion, what I like the most about “Crossover” is their family relationship. They all love playing basketball except the mom but she likes watching the game and encourages the boys to play their best.

My current book type: Realistic fiction

The book The crossover is about a boy named Josh Bell who is an extraordinary basketball player. His brother is very talented at basketball as well and they both are very committed.

I do not like the fact that the book is in a form of a poem. I do like the fact that the book rhymes and sounds like a song. I do not like the fact that the book doesn’t have that many characters. I also do not like the fact that the story does not provide a lot of details.
