The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

Genre: Fantasy
Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆, an all-time favorite
Total number of pages: 457

My current book type: Fantasy

Aliens come to earth and start killing people. Some people survive and some people don’t. The main character is this girl and she is only 15 or 16 and she is all alone and she is trying to survive.

I like this book because it’s about a girl fighting aliens. She can’t trust anyone. Another thing is she can’t tell if someone is alien or human.

My current book type: mystery/characters like me/to feel something

Susie Salmon was a 14-year-old girl who is already in heaven. the mystery on who did the crime has not been solves. Susie and the people she meet in heaven know what really happened to Susie, the only living person on earth is the murder who knows what happened to Susie. The family not knowing that the murder is right next door.

The book goes by slow, you don’t get anything exiting until you go further into the book. The book starts off with Susie already in heaven. The book should’ve started with Susie alive going into the murder instead, but the author did this on purpose.

Three words that describe this book:
suspenseful, surprising,great

My current book type: Science Fiction

Bobby’s a classic urban teenager. He is different from other teenagers because he’s going to be a father. instead of hanging out with his friends he’ll be with his girlfriend at the doctors.

I really like the format of this book. I also like how when Bobby came home on his birthday he saw his girlfriend sitting on the steps of his house with a balloon. Bobby thought that she was just there to celebrate his birthday… nut he thought wrong. This book show’s the struggle of being a teen parent.

Three words that describe this book:
suspenseful, surprising, informational

Review by: Gustavo
My current book type: Mystery, supense, horror, fiction: Characters different from me: Content-driven: Escape, to be shaken up.

This book is about a girl called Katniss, she lives in the nation of Panem where is the capitol (rich people lives) and the 12 distrcits (workers and poor people). Every year a girl and a boy from every district is picked up to the Hunger Games, where the objective is to survive.

I like that Katniss is a very strong girl, physically and mentally because of everything she passes through, I like how the author give the details, I can really feel what happen to the districts, and feel inside the book. What I am not liking so much is the writing, it is a hard vocabulary.

Three words that describe this book:
Exciting, love, surprising.
